Contact the desk

There is one editorial mailbox for this desk: editor@enugucopyng.com.

The one mailbox we use

The desk has a single editorial mailbox, editor@enugucopyng.com, and everything sent to the desk goes there. We do not publish a phone number, a street address or a second address, because we do not have one to give and we will not invent one. If a message claims to come from this desk through another channel, treat it as not from us.

The mailbox is for editorial matters: a factual query about a page, a correction, or a question about how a check was done. We read what arrives, but we do not promise a response time in hours or days, and we cannot guarantee that every message gets a reply. A clear subject line and a link to the page in question make a message easier to act on.

What we will and will not help with

We will help with editorial questions: which document a figure came from, why a broker was ranked where it was, or what a page means. We will not help with account problems, because we cannot see your account and have no authority over any broker. We will not help with fund recovery, and we will not act as an intermediary in a dispute with a broker.

We also do not give personal advice. We cannot tell you whether to buy or sell gold, how much to risk, or which account type suits you, because that depends on facts about you that we do not have and should not collect. For a dispute, go to the broker's own complaints process and then to the regulator named in its documents; for a Nigerian operator, the SEC Nigeria register is the place to confirm who is authorised.

No guest posts, no sponsored reviews, no paid placement

We do not accept guest posts, sponsored reviews or paid placement at any price. This is not a negotiation position; it is the rule that keeps the rankings meaningful. A page that can be bought is worth nothing to a reader deciding where to send money, so the answer to every such request is no, including requests that come with a generous budget.

The only commercial relationship this desk has is affiliate links, and those are disclosed on the pages that carry them. If you are a broker and you want a fact corrected, send the document and the date; that is a correction request and it is welcome. If you want a review written or a position improved, the answer is no regardless of what is offered.

Why a Correction Outranks a General Question

A correction is prioritised because a wrong figure on a live page misleads every reader who arrives after you, while a general question affects only the person asking. That is the whole ordering logic. A request that identifies an error in a stated number, a misdescribed formula or a regulator caveat that has drifted from the wording we were given goes to the front of the queue. It is checked first, fixed first and answered first, ahead of questions about how something works or why a page is structured a certain way.

Within corrections, the order depends on what is at stake. A wrong pip value, lot size or margin example on gold is treated as urgent because readers may act on the arithmetic. A regulator statement that no longer matches the caveat we hold is treated the same way. A wording problem that misleads without being factually wrong sits behind those but ahead of general queries. A disagreement with an opinion we never expressed, or with a broker's own published terms, is not a correction at all and is routed back to you with an explanation.

Priority does not mean instant. It means first in line once a message is read, and reading still happens in working days rather than around the clock. Send the source with the request, because a correction without evidence cannot be verified and will sit until it can be. If you have already sent one and found better evidence, reply to your own message with it rather than starting a new thread; the original keeps its place in the queue and the new material gets attached to it.

How Long a Reply Normally Takes

Expect a reply within a few working days, not within hours. This is a small editorial operation, messages are read by the people who write the pages, and each one is checked against the published text before anything is sent back. Messages that arrive over a weekend or a Nigerian public holiday start counting from the next working day. We do not run a live chat, a phone line or an instant acknowledgement system, so silence for a day or two is normal rather than a sign that your message was ignored.

Questions that quote the exact page, the exact sentence and the exact number are answered fastest, often in a single exchange. Questions that require us to reconstruct what you saw from a vague description take longer, because the first reply has to ask for the missing detail. Correction requests with a source attached move ahead of general questions, since a wrong figure on a live page affects every reader who lands on it. Response time depends on how much of that groundwork your message already does.

If a week passes with no reply, resend once with the original message quoted underneath, and say plainly that it is a follow-up. Do not send the same question repeatedly through several channels; duplicates slow things down because each copy has to be reconciled. We do not promise a guaranteed turnaround, and we will not invent one to sound responsive. What we will do is answer in the order that protects readers first: corrections, then factual queries, then everything else.

Building a Message That Can Actually Be Answered

A useful message contains four things: the page URL, the exact sentence you are asking about, the specific question in one line, and what you already know or have checked. Paste the sentence rather than paraphrasing it, because a paraphrase loses the number that made it confusing. If your question is about gold, include the lot size and the leverage figure you were reading, so the arithmetic can be checked against the right line instead of a guessed one. One clear question beats five bundled together.

Leave out anything that identifies your account or your money: no account numbers, no card digits, no transfer references, no screenshots of balances, no copies of identity documents. None of that helps answer a question about published text and all of it creates a record that should not exist in an inbox. If your message only makes sense with account detail attached, it is probably a question for your broker rather than for us, and the next section says where those go.

Write in plain English and say what you expected the page to tell you. That single sentence often reveals whether the problem is a missing explanation, an ambiguous phrase or a genuine error, and it decides whether you get a clarification or a correction. If you are unsure whether your question is in scope, send it anyway with the page link; a short redirect costs less time than a long message that has to be decoded before it can be answered or routed elsewhere.

What Happens When You Ask Us to Correct Something

A correction request is logged, checked against the source you provide, and if the page is wrong, the text is changed and the change is described on the page rather than quietly made. Send the URL, the sentence as it currently reads, what you believe it should say, and where that comes from. If the point is a regulator matter, cite the SEC Nigeria register or the named regulator directly. We do not need your opinion of the site; we need the specific claim and the specific evidence that contradicts it.

If the claim is right but the wording misled you, that is still useful and we treat it as a clarity fix rather than a factual correction. Expect the page to be rewritten so the point cannot be misread, not merely patched with a word. If the claim is correct and the wording is clear, we will say so and show you the passage that supports it, including the limits we were working under. We only state what we can source, and where a number was never given to us we describe what it depends on instead.

Corrections are not negotiated privately into silence. If we got a figure wrong, the fix is visible to the next reader, because an invisible correction leaves the same error live for everyone else. We will not remove accurate material because it is unwelcome, and we will not add a claim we cannot support just to settle a dispute. Where the disagreement is about a broker's own terms rather than our text, we will tell you that the broker is the right place to raise it and point you there.

Explaining Published Material Without Giving You Personal Trading Advice

We can explain anything we have published: how a pip is counted on gold at 0.01, why one standard lot is 100 oz, how margin is calculated, what leverage up to 1:200 means as a cap, and what each funding method on the list involves. We can also point you to the regulator wording and tell you to confirm any broker on the SEC Nigeria register. That is educational explanation of written material, and it is the whole of what this mailbox exists to do.

We cannot tell you whether to buy or sell gold, where to place a stop, how large a position to take, or whether now is a good moment to enter. We cannot assess your income, your risk tolerance or your goals, and we will not frame an answer as a recommendation dressed up as explanation. Trading gold on leverage carries a real risk of losing more than you intend, and a decision that fits your circumstances cannot be made from an email exchange with a writer who has never seen your finances.

We also cannot interpret a broker's terms as advice on whether to accept them, rule on whether a specific spread or fee is good value, or predict what XAU/USD will do next. If your question is really about what you should do with money, it falls outside this mailbox. What we can do is make sure you understand the mechanics precisely, including that leverage is a cap and not a target, so that whatever you decide is made with the arithmetic in front of you rather than behind it.

Account Problems, Missing Funds and Personal Decisions Belong Elsewhere

We cannot touch a trading account. We cannot log in, reset a password, verify identity, change leverage settings, close a position, release a withdrawal or confirm why a deposit has not landed. Those actions sit with the broker that holds the account, and the entity serving Nigeria is FxPro Markets Direct Costa Rica Latam SRL. Contact that broker's own support with your account reference. Nothing sent to this mailbox reaches an account system, and no message here can move money in either direction.

We cannot recover funds, investigate a transfer, chase a withdrawal or act as an intermediary in a dispute. If money has gone missing, your first route is the broker's formal complaints process, and beyond that the regulator named in the caveat: FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK), CySEC and FSCA, and any broker should be confirmed on the SEC Nigeria register of capital market operators. Keep your own records of dates, references and correspondence. We can explain what a published page says; we cannot represent you or press a firm on your behalf.

We cannot give personal trading advice, size a position for your circumstances, or tell you whether gold is a suitable instrument for you. If your question is whether to trade, how much to risk or what to do after a loss, the honest answer is that this mailbox is the wrong address. A licensed adviser who knows your finances is the right one. Sending a personal decision question here will get a redirect, not a recommendation, and that redirect is deliberate rather than unhelpful.

Send the Right Detail for Each Type of Question

For a factual query about gold (XAU/USD) mechanics, send the instrument code, the exact figure or formula you are checking, and the page you read it on. If you are asking how a 0.10-lot position is margined at 1:200, quote the worked figure you saw (about $85.50) and say which entity and leverage note it sat beside. That lets us confirm or correct the arithmetic without guessing which part confused you. One message, one question, with the numbers already pasted in, is answered fastest.

For a broker or platform question, name the platform (MT4, MT5, cTrader or FxPro Edge), the entity you were told serves Nigeria, and the exact wording that seemed unclear. If the issue is the regulator note, paste the sentence and say whether you checked the SEC Nigeria register of capital market operators yourself. Do not send screenshots of your balance, positions or account number. We work from the words on the page, not from your live account, and account-level detail is never needed to explain a published statement.

For a funding question, state the method you intend to use from the list we cover: local NGN bank transfers, Visa or Mastercard debit cards, e-payments or crypto. Say what you are trying to establish, such as which currency your ₦ deposit converts through or what a naira transfer is denominated in. Do not attach receipts, card digits or transfer references. We can explain how a method is described on the site; we cannot look into a specific transfer, confirm its status or trace where funds went after you sent them.

Where a Message Goes When We Cannot Answer It

A message we cannot answer gets a short reply saying so, with the reason and, where one exists, the direction to take instead. It is not deleted to make the inbox look tidy and it is not left hanging as a silent non-answer. If the question is about an account, a withdrawal or missing funds, the reply names the broker or the regulator route. If it asks for personal trading advice, the reply says plainly that this mailbox does not give it. If it is a correction we cannot verify, the reply says what evidence would settle it.

Messages that fall outside the site entirely, such as job requests, advertising pitches, guest post offers and sponsored review proposals, are closed without a reply, since the site already states those are not accepted. Anything that arrives with account numbers, card digits or identity documents attached is not stored and not forwarded; the reply asks you to resend without them if the underlying question is in scope. We do not keep a database of reader messages, and we do not pass them to brokers, affiliates or any third party.

If your message is answerable but needs a page that does not yet exist, it is kept as a note for future coverage rather than answered at length in email. You may get a short reply pointing at the closest existing page, which is an honest answer rather than a brush-off. We would rather tell you the site does not cover something yet than improvise a figure we were never given. A clear no, with the reason attached, is more useful to you than a confident answer built on nothing.

FAQ

Common questions

How do I reach the Enugu Copy desk with a question about a page?

Use the contact form on the contact page and include the page address and the exact sentence you are asking about. A precise quote lets us check the source and reply faster. We answer editorial questions about gold, leverage and cost structure, and we pass calculator queries to the team that maintains those tools.

Can the desk tell me whether to buy or sell gold today?

No. Enugu Copy does not give trade signals, entry levels or personal recommendations, and we cannot tell you whether to buy or sell XAU/USD. We can explain how a position size, a margin requirement or a pip value is calculated so you can judge a trade yourself, but the decision and the risk stay with you.

Will you help me recover money from a broker or resolve a dispute?

No. We are a publisher and cannot act on your behalf in a dispute, freeze an account or recover funds. For a complaint, use the broker's own process and, where relevant, the regulator named in its licence line. For local checks, confirm any broker on the SEC Nigeria register of capital market operators.

Can I send account details, bank transfer receipts or card information to the desk?

Please do not. Never send bank transfer receipts, card numbers, passwords or your broker login to the desk. We do not need them to answer an editorial question, and holding them would create a risk we are not set up to manage. Describe the issue in words instead.

How long should I expect to wait for a reply?

We aim to reply to clear editorial questions within a few working days, though volume and complexity affect the wait. Messages that name the page and quote the sentence get answered first. We do not promise same-day replies, and we do not run a live chat for trade decisions.
